Umberto Beccaria is an Italian musician and artist, born in Mondovì in 1996. Known for an open and curious approach to music and art as boundless languages connecting emotions, thought and beauty, he performs in Austria, Belgium, China, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, United States.

His repertoire spans from Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Mendelssohn, Prokofiev, Schoenberg, Schubert, Schumann, Skrjabin, and Szymanowski to contemporary composers such as Andrea Ravizza, William Blank, Beat Furrer, and Heinz Holliger, exploring the color and texture of sound. Alongside his solo career, he has collaborated as soloist with orchestras on music by Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, and Mozart, and maintains a strong presence in chamber music, performing with ensembles and soloists from the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della Rai.

Beccaria’s discography demonstrates both depth and diversity. Highlights include live at the concertgebouw amsterdam (2024), Brahms–Schönberg / Chopin–Szymanowski (2022), Bach–Scarlatti–Haydn (2022), Prokofiev–Skrjabin (2022), Chopin – Mazurkas op. 33 (2022), Schumann’s Davidsbündlertänze Op. 6 (2022), and most recently brahms | fantasien op.116 (2025), a recording that reflects his ongoing exploration of the expressive possibilities of the piano.

In 2023, he co-founded the duo Anamorfosi with María Alejandra Jiménez, a project combining music, art, and aesthetic research, focusing on the XX and XXI century repertoire. In 2025 he developed lied, reimagining the form of the “song without words,” and released an experimental EP under the same title, available on all major streaming platforms.

He is also the founder and artistic director of the festival Classiche Armonie in Carrù, Italy, bringing international musicians to his hometown and creating intimate spaces where artists and audiences meet directly. 

His career moves effortlessly between solo, chamber, and collaborative projects, reflecting a restless curiosity and commitment to connecting music to life in its many forms.
