beethoven/schubert limited edition
beethoven/schubert LP 33′ (100 copies, limited edition)
I find in Beethoven’s and Schubert’s music, more than in any other composer, a coexistence of joy and sorrow, elements that are part of every individual’s life. It is a privilege for me to be able to re-propose great masterpieces of the past in modernity. As a performer, this is certainly one of the aspects that moves and fascinates me most. Bringing works written two hundred years ago up to date is a challenge but at the same time a moral duty. I personally took care of the recording and post-production of this record, as I often do for my recordings. I recorded everything in one morning, making only the strictly necessary changes, so as to maintain the emotion and atmosphere of the almost live performance. Even the cover was self-produced. My intention with this record was to create something unique. In fact, I did not decide on a fixed artwork but there will be different images that I have taken myself over the last few months and that for one reason or another represent the music on the record or myself, two aspects that are actually very close.
